Cooking time: 5 minutes
Makes 1 toast
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 bread slice
- 1/4 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp desi ghee
Tip: For best results, use measuring utensils.
Note: When using the entire egg, reduce the milk to 2 tbsp.
- Mix egg yolk, milk and sugar in a bowl using a fork.
- Dip both sides of the bread slice in the mixture, sucking the mixture into the bread.
- Add 1 tsp desi ghee into a frying pan and put on medium heat. Put the slice into the pan. Once one side is done, add 1/2 tsp desi ghee on the slice and turn it over cooking it till it is light golden.
