Cooking time: 50 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 bunch cauliflower (about 600g, chopped)
- 1 lb ground beef (keema)
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 medium onion (finely sliced)
- 1 large tomato (finely sliced)
- 2tbsp cilantro (roughly chopped)
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 and 1/2 inch ginger piece (cut into thin sticks)
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp crushed red chilis
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
Tip: For best results, use measuring utensils.
Method
- In a pot, add oil and fry onion on high heat until golden (approx. 7 minutes)
- Add cumin seeds, garlic paste, ground beef, 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp crushed red chilis, ginger paste and stir fry until the oil separates.
- Add Gobi, 2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 ts crushed red chilis, 1 tsp salt. Mix well and add tomatoes on top. Once it starts cooking, reduce the heat to low, cover and let it cook until the gobi is cooked (approx. 18 minutes.)
- After 18 minutes, uncover, increase the heat to high and stir fry until the oil separates.
- Add cilantro, ginger sticks, garam masala powder and mix well.
- Reduce heat to very low and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Enjoy with homemade chapati!
